About the Founder

As a parent, I believe I am obligated to be curious, to question every aspect of my family’s life, to make choices that promote their health and well-being, and to model what it means to be a conscious steward of the environment.

Raising my two young children, I became concerned about the overuse of plastics and the health risks of PVCs. After an exhaustive and fruitless search for stainless steel food storage containers I decided to begin importing a line of containers similar to “that well-known plastic storage container company” in shape, size and versatility, but made out of a safe, non-leeching, recycled material.

The launch of Stainless Seal along with my family’s decision to live closer to the land in a small community are choices that began our journey from dependency to one of sustainability. My deepest passion is to impart a love and appreciation for the land and all it’s inhabitants to my children. As the land provides water and power, I believe my children are learning, through living, not only about water conservation, but the interconnectedness of humans and the earth.
